Holefield Equestrian
We have a Cross Country Schooling course, and grass showjumping paddock on the farm available for hire.
CROSS COUNTRY COURSE
With jumps set out over 1.5 miles, there are three heights to choose from ranging between 1.5’ and 3.6’. A variety of jump types including ditches, steps and a large water jump. In total over 60 fences.

- We’ve even had a childrens “horse back” Birthday party.
- The annual Buccleuch Pony Club Pick-a-Fence competition
Cost for individual hire:
The cost of hiring the course is £15 per horse for the cross country course and £5 per horse for the show jumps.
Cost for group hire:
12 or more people can book at a cost of £10 per horse, this includes the X.C. course and the show jumps.
If a group booking is made and less than 12 horses turn up on the day, then the group will be charged for 12 horses (£120).
A Risk assessment and disclaimer must be completed before riding on the course, hard hats and body protectors of recognised BHS current safety standard must be worn. No one is allowed on the course unaccompanied. Under 16 year olds must be within site of an adult at all times, no riders under the age of 7 are permitted on the course.

If you wish to bring your horse on holiday we can provide grazing at a cost of £7 per horse per night.
